Irene has almost twenty-five years of experience advising clients on planning and consulting matters involving income and transfer tax, family business succession, and cross-border issues. She works on structuring trusts and wealth plans for tax efficiency.\n Before joining PwC, Irene was a managing director with KPMG’s national tax office focusing on estate, gift and trust matters. She was also previously a vice president and senior wealth planner with PNC Wealth Management, where she provided advice on complex estate and other wealth planning issues. Irene started her career as a trusts and estates attorney at Covington & Burling. Irene is chair of the AICPA’s trust technical resource panel, a member of the section 199A task force and frequently is involved in comment letters to Congress, the IRS and Treasury. Irene is also a recipient of the AICPA’s Jonathan Horn Distinguished Service Award.\n \nTwo Meeting Requirement: To maintain membership in the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, active members are required to attend at least two (2) IN-PERSON educational meetings annually.\n  \n \nCancellation Policy: Reservations must be canceled in writing or by e-mail and received no later than Friday, November 29, 2024.\n
